Patrol
In-game tablet commands
Every command the PlateNet FiveM resource adds, who can use each one, the cooldowns, call cards and F9, and the config.lua settings that change them.
The PlateNet resource adds three commands to a FiveM server. One opens the tablet. The other two create calls, and they are not the same call.
| Command | Who | Needs pairing | Default wait | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
/platenet | Anyone | To use the CAD, yes | None | ||
| `/911 <leo\ | fire\ | ems> <text>` | Anyone | No | 5 minutes |
/panic | Units and dispatchers | Yes | 1 minute |
The community owner installs the resource first - see connect your game server.
/platenet
Opens the tablet. F6 does the same by default.
The first time the tablet opens on a computer PlateNet has never seen, it shows a pairing code instead of the CAD. Approve it once at platenet.app/device - see linking your game session. After that the tablet opens straight into the CAD.
To change the key for yourself: FiveM settings, Key Bindings, FiveM, Open PlateNet. To change the default for everyone on the server: Config.TabletKey in config.lua.
/platenet set
Puts the tablet into layout mode. Drag it, resize it, reset it, or finish. The layout is kept on that computer.
/platenet alerts
Turns call alerts off for you, or back on. The choice is kept on that computer.
/911
Reports an emergency. Anyone on the server can use it, paired or not.
/911 leo <what is happening>
/911 fire <what is happening>
/911 ems <what is happening>
The service word is required: leo, fire or ems. Without one the call is refused. Your street and area are attached from your position in the game, so the text only needs to say what is happening.
The call is created in the community's queue with a case number, shows on DISPATCH and in every on-duty unit's tablet, and is routed like any other call. It carries your position, not your character, because the game does not know which civilian you are playing. To attach a name and phone, submit the call from the civilian emergency page instead.
One call per player every five minutes by default.
/panic
Raises a Signal 100 at your position. Units and dispatchers only, and the tablet has to be paired.
A Signal 100 is a priority 0 call. Every open DISPATCH board and patrol page in the community shows it at once and plays the Signal 100 tone, and you stay attached to it. See Signal 100 for what dispatch sees and how it is cleared.
One per unit every minute by default. A civilian who types /panic gets nothing; they want /911.
Call alerts
A paired unit gets a card in the top right of the screen. It stays for 15 seconds. The header darkens from the right as the time runs out.
NEW CALL P1 · LEO
[P1] TRAFFIC STOP [PENDING]
7032 · GROVE ST / FOREST AVE 0M
LSPD 1A-12
[F9] respond #26-04417 [F6] PlateNet
The header and the bar down the left are coloured by priority: red for P0 and P1, amber for P2, green for P3 and grey for P4. ASSIGNED TO YOU is blue and badged YOUR CALL. A PANIC header flashes and the call is badged ACTIVE. The second line is the postal, the location and the age of the call. The third line is the department tag, or the service when the call has no department, and the units on the call or how many it still needs. The footer shows the respond key, the case number and the tablet key.
| Card | When | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| NEW CALL | A call that still needs units. A call a unit makes for themselves does not show. | 10-8 units in the call's department, or every 10-8 unit when it has no department |
| PANIC | A Signal 100 | Every on-duty unit and dispatcher, except the one who raised it |
| ASSIGNED TO YOU | You were put on a call | You. A waypoint is set when the call has a map position. |
| NEEDS A UNIT | A dispatcher is on duty and a call has waited longer than its unassigned limit | 10-8 units in the call's department, or every 10-8 unit |
Set 10-8 to receive cards. Any other on-duty status receives PANIC only. Off duty receives none.
While a dispatcher is on duty, NEW CALL cards do not show. The dispatcher assigns units, and you get ASSIGNED TO YOU. The unassigned limits are the ones set under SMART DISPATCH on the Community Panel.
A 10-8 dispatcher gets every card for every department. Players who are not paired, and members without a unit or dispatch role, get no cards. You never get a card for a call or Signal 100 you made yourself.
Responding with F9
Press F9 while a card is on screen. The newest card is answered.
| Call | What F9 does |
|---|---|
| Signal 100 | Puts you on the call and sets a waypoint to the unit's position. Any number of units can respond. If you are already on a call, it sets the waypoint and you stay on your call. |
| P1 to P4 | Puts you on the call and sets a waypoint, until the call has the units it needs: 2 for P1 and P2, 1 for P3 and P4, or the number dispatch set on the call. After that the card says who has it; open PlateNet to attach yourself. |
F9 needs you on duty. For anything but a Signal 100, clear your current call first. While a dispatcher is on duty, F9 sets the waypoint and the dispatcher assigns units.
/911 and /panic carry your position in game, so their calls have a map position for the waypoint. A call created on the web has one when its location was added from a unit's current location.
To change the key: FiveM settings, Key Bindings, FiveM, PlateNet: respond to a call.
Turning cards off
/platenet alerts- for you. It turns every card off, Signal 100 included.Config.CallAlerts = falseinconfig.lua- for that game server.- In-game call alerts in GAME SERVER LINK on the Community Panel - for the whole community.

| Please wait before calling again | The cooldown is running. Five minutes between emergency calls, one between Signal 100s, unless the owner changed them. |
