Signal 100
Signal 100 creates an emergency priority-zero call, attaches your unit and assigns additional units even when automatic assignment is disabled.
SIGNAL 100 is in the Patrol CAD toolbar. It is the only CAD action that asks for confirmation.
Raising one
- Enter your location. Required.
- Enter your street or location. Required.
- Select ACTIVATE SIGNAL 100.
- Answer the confirmation, which asks "Broadcast SIGNAL 100 to all units?"
The call is created and you are attached to it.
What Signal 100 does
It creates a priority-zero call and attaches the activating unit.
Signal 100 assigns additional units. See automatic assignment for staffing rules.
It remains active when ordinary automatic assignment is disabled for the dispatcher session.
Signal 100 priority cannot be changed.
Position in the call list
A Signal 100 sorts above every other call for every unit. Only your own current call appears higher on your screen.
It opens as an active call rather than waiting in the queue.
Clearing
A Signal 100 clears the same way as any other call, with a disposition and CLEAR CALL. See working a call.
Access
Any unit with patrol access can raise one.
