Civilian
The civilian side
Characters, vehicles, firearms and emergency calls live in the civilian view, and everything units can look up starts here.
Every record a unit can look up was created here. A community's records start empty and fill as players create characters.
Every account has civilian access, including accounts that joined with a patrol or dispatcher code.
The four tabs
MY CHARACTERS creates and edits identities. See civilian characters.
MY VEHICLES and MY FIREARMS hold registrations against a character. See vehicles and firearms.
EMERGENCY CALL submits a call into the community's CAD queue. See emergency calls.
The header in this view shows PORTAL and CIVILIAN. A submitted emergency call returns a case number at the time it is sent.
The limits
Five characters per account per community. Five vehicles and five firearms per character. Reaching a limit returns a message naming it.
These are per community. The same account can hold a separate set in each.
What units see
A character becomes a person record on creation, searchable by name, date of birth or licence number. A registered vehicle is searchable by plate. A registered firearm is searchable by serial or make.
Officers can add flags and notes to those records. Neither is visible to the player the record belongs to.
Registration status on a vehicle and status on a firearm are set by the owner, and both appear on the return an officer receives. See flags and person notes.
Deleting
Deleting a character also removes records associated with that character. Review the confirmation carefully. See creating and editing characters.
