Reports
Reports
Three lists, five statuses and one document panel. How reports move from draft to approved and who can see which list.
REPORTS is a list on the left and a document on the right. The arrow in the tab row collapses the list.
The tabs
MY REPORTS is everything you have filed, in any status.
APPROVAL is the review queue, showing reports waiting on a decision. Supervisors, dispatchers and community managers see it.
ALL REPORTS is every report in the community except other people's drafts, with a status filter above the list. Same audience as APPROVAL.
The tab marked + NEW opens a blank document.
The five statuses
DRAFT is visible only to the officer who wrote it.
SUBMITTED is waiting in the approval queue.
APPROVED has been signed off by a supervisor. Warrants attached to the report take effect at this point.
RETURNED has been sent back with a reason.
REJECTED has been refused with a reason.
Returned and rejected reports become editable again for the officer who wrote them, and both can be resubmitted.
The list rows
Each row shows the report location or case number as its title, falling back to a generated title such as "Incident Report #41" when neither was entered. The status sits beside it as a coloured chip.
The second line shows the report type, the form code, and the date and time of creation. On APPROVAL and ALL REPORTS it also names who filed it.
A reviewed report shows a third line naming the reviewer and the time of the decision.
Review scope
Which reports appear on the APPROVAL and ALL REPORTS tabs depends on your review scope. See reviewing reports as a supervisor.
Which forms you get
Your department decides. A department set to Fire / EMS gives the fire and EMS forms. Any other service type gives the law enforcement set. An account with no department gets the law enforcement set.
You choose the report type within the set, not the set itself. See report types and forms.
